The public is invited to today’s Uintah County Commission meeting to give input on a proposed pay increase for certain elected officials. The notice of the public hearing states that it will be held Tuesday, September 16th, to consider a planned compensation increase for executive county officers in the 2026 Budget. Clerk Auditor Mike Wilkins made the proposal to the Commissioners during the August 27th work session. Wilkins asked the Commission to consider a 10% raise for the Treasurer, Assessor, Recorder, themselves as the Commissioners, and himself as the Clerk Auditor. Today’s Uintah County Commission meeting starts at 3:00pm.
