UDOT shared on Friday an update on projects in Indian Canyon accompanied by a straight forward safety message. “At the end of September and into October, a separate maintenance project will take place to seal cracks in the road between milepost 260 and 269,” shares UDOT. “This work may result in additional wait times for drivers traveling through Indian Canyon. Although this maintenance is not part of the US-191 Indian Canyon Improved Project, we understand that additional delays can be frustrating. Our crews will continue to actively manage traffic queues, with expected delays in the project area of up to 30 minutes.” UDOT also offered a reminder that there are multiple open range grazing areas throughout Indian Canyon. “We have observed cattle on or near the road in multiple places throughout the corridor,” shares the reminder. “Please watch for open range signs, be attentive to your surroundings and stay alert as you travel through the canyon.”
