A passenger in an August 28th traffic stop in Uintah County was arrested on felony drug charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a state-certified K9 checked the vehicle and gave a positive indication to officers. The driver and passenger were asked to step out of the vehicle. The passenger, 24-year-old Tatianna Kierra Finn, attempted to discard a clear plastic baggie containing Methamphetamine onto the ground. She was placed in handcuffs and additional items fell from her shorts, including a baggie containing pills. A subsequent search revealed another baggie containing approximately 30 suspected Fentanyl pills, which is a quantity consistent with distribution. Another baggie containing suspected Fentanyl powder was also recovered. Based on the evidence recovered, Tatianna Finn was arrested and is charged with 2 counts of 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Misdemeanor Paraphernalia charge.
