The rainfall has caused some damage to roads within Dinosaur National Monument. “Due to recent storm damage, the entire Yampa Bench Road within the monument, also known as Moffat County 14N, and the Echo Park Road from Harpers Corner Road to the Echo Park Campground and boat ramp are currently closed,” shares the announcement. “The area has experienced significant rainfall over the past several days, resulting in multiple washouts. Culverts have been exposed, and rocks have been washed into the roadway, making it impassable.” Updates will continue to be provided as conditions change. These closures are anticipated through the Labor Day Holiday at minimum.
