Today Is The Day To Dress As A Dinosaur And Help Break Guinness World Record

Today is the day to be part of making history in Dinosaurland! If you have a dinosaur costume in the closet waiting to be worn, pull it out and get down to Main Street in Vernal at the Lamplighter this evening to help break the Guinness World Record for most people gathered and fully dressed up as dinosaurs. The record is currently held by Palm Beach, Florida, and the number of costumes to beat the record is 468, though the goal set is 800. If you don’t have a costume, there is still time to get creative in making one or check local stores for possible options. The Rec Center has blow up costumes available to borrow for the event so if interested, check to see if any are left. All costumes will be verified by an official Guinness World Record witness. No partial costumes will count towards the record. A costume counts if it is head to toe. Questions can be directed to Cheryl at 435-790-9189.
