It’s the best time of year to keep an eye on the sky as Dinah SOAR Days Hot Air Balloon Festival runs Friday through Sunday in Uintah County. Organizers have announced that 44 hot air balloons are signed up to participate. The balloon launch each morning will happen from the Vernal Middle School fields. Activities will happen Friday and Saturday evening downtown. Both nights will feature live music, the car show, and the Night Glow. Friday includes the Dino Dash and the attempt to set a Guinness World Record for most people gathered in full dinosaur costumes.
