The Roosevelt Branch Library of the Duchesne County Library System announced this month some helpful purchases made thanks to grant funding. A $5,000 Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Utah State Library was used to upgrade the patron computers in the library. “The grant was administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Utah State Library Division, and the Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement,” shares the announcement. “This will likely be our final LSTA grant as the IMLS has been scheduled by the federal government to sunset and end operations next fall.” They expressed their appreciation for the patrol technology upgrades that this entity has helped supply over the years.
