Arrests were made on August 1st after a warrant was executed on a Uintah County residence where there was evidence that Fentanyl and Methamphetamine were being sold. The search warrant on 50-year-old Benjamin Glenn Weston’s Ballard property included a 5th wheel trailer and a Tesla. Law enforcement located and confiscated crushed and whole Fentanyl pills, Methamphetamine, vials of Tren and Sust steroids, a ziplock bag of Psilocybin, multiple containers of Marijuana, multiple digital scales, baggies for drug distribution, a loaded 9mm semi automatic pistol, ammunition, and magazines. Weston is a convicted felon with prior drug convictions making him a Category 1 restricted person. It was noted that the north property line where Weston lives is directly across the street from a city park that is frequented by many adults and children everyday. Benjamin Weston was arrested and is charged with multiple felony counts of Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute, as well as other drug and weapon charges. He is ordered to be held without bail. 29-year-old Sarah Daisy Gonzales was also arrested at the residence. Sarah admitted to having flushed a larger bag of Methamphetamine down the toilet when she believed police were coming into the trailer. She also admitted to selling Fentanyl to help support her drug habit. Sarah Daisy Gonzales is charged with felony Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute, as well as other charges. Because her main residence is in Myton and due to her connections through her drug use outside of Uintah County, Sarah was believed to be a flight risk. She was ordered to be held without bail.
