Dinosaur National Monument Seeking Campground Volunteers

by | Aug 1, 2025 | News | 0 comments

Dinosaur National Monument is looking for volunteer campground hosts for the Green River Campground. The Green River Campground is located along the banks of the Green River below the beautiful Split Mountain. The position lasts until the campground closes in mid-October.
The Campground Host is responsible for visitor services, basic custodial duties, and may be asked to assist with management of persons during animal encounters, search and rescue operations, or wildfire situations.
If interested, the Host may have the opportunity to perform foot-patrols and monitoring of hiking trails within Dinosaur National Monument. The host stays in a host RV site with full hookups. Visit Volunteer.gov for more information.
