A man on parole led officers on a chase before midnight on July 23rd but was eventually caught. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers were called to assist the FBI on a chase going through Neola and heading south on SR121 towards Roosevelt. An officer set out spike strips which the vehicle drove over but continued driving south at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was forced to stop at 100 West State Street in Roosevelt, where the driver jumped out of the vehicle and started running north on 100 West. 32-year-old Heath Ladell Uncasam was caught and arrested. He is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Failure to Stop at Command of Police. Uncasam pleaded Guilty in June to Driving on a Denied License.
