Ballot questions concerning recreational marijuana will not be included on the April ballot for Craig citizens. Craig City Council decided against it Tuesday night but that is unlikely to slow down the organized group of citizens known as the Committee to Grow Craig. Craig City Council had discussed the possibilities for several meetings and it had appeared the Council was open to allowing the citizens to vote on the sale, cultivation and testing of recreational marijuana within city limits. Posts on the Committee to Grow Craig Facebook page show that the group will now focus on April’s municipal election in pursuit of electing council members who will support recreational marijuana in the future.
