UDOT Update On Highway 40 Construction From Bridgeland To Roosevelt

by | Jul 11, 2025 | News | 0 comments

The orange flags and cones are out as construction continues on Highway 40 in Duchesne County between Bridgeland and Roosevelt. The Utah Department of Transportation started the resurfacing project on Highway 40 from the Antelope Creek Bridge to Pole Line Road in mid June. UDOT’s latest update shares that daytime paving operations are now happening between Myton and Roosevelt where motorists will be shifted into open lanes using barrels. Delays and reduced speeds are to be expected. The project aims to increase the longevity of the road surface, increase skid resistance for vehicles, address roadway deterioration, and enhance motorist safety by resmoothing the travel lanes. The project’s estimated completion time is August of 2025. For updates and additional information, please visit udotinput.utah.gov/US40Paving.
