The magic of Hogwarts is coming to Uintah High School this fall with the announcement of Uintah Theatre’s upcoming production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” High School Edition. Director Chris Piner and the entire creative team are already hard at work and very excited to bring this story to the Uintah Basin. “Once again, we are very honored to be presenting a show which is currently playing on Broadway and London’s West End as well as a wonderfully accepted National Tour,” says Piner. “This play, though not a musical, is fully scored like a Hollywood film. There is music throughout, enhancing the story as it plays out live before the audience. The show is full of the magical visuals you hope to see in a title like this. It is daunting and exciting all at once and we’ve already begun work on it long before we’ll even have auditions.” Tickets will go on sale August 1st and the show will run on the Uintah High School Auditorium stage on select dates from October 24th through the 30th.
