The US-191 realignment construction will reduce US-191 to a single lane as crews work to integrate the new alignment with existing alignment. As part of the US-191 realignment project, UDOT will reduce the road to a single one-way lane at milepost 365, just north of Red Fleet State Park on Tuesday, July 8th. The closure is expected to last about 10 days. This closure will help facilitate work to integrate the new US-191 alignment with the existing road. The road will be reduced for about 0.1 miles. Flaggers will be stationed at the top and bottom of the closure to direct traffic on the first day of the closure, after which traffic will be directed by automated traffic lights. Motorists are advised to stay alert and remain cautious through these areas as heavy equipment enters and exits the work zone. Motorists should plan ahead in anticipation of potential delays.
