Work is underway on the resurfacing of Highway 40 from the Antelope Creek Bridge to Pole Line Road. UDOT has emphasized that crews will be working both daytime and nighttime hours mostly Monday through Friday with Saturdays only as necessary. “The nighttime paving work will run through mid-July from Antelope Creek through Myton City,” shares UDOT. “During this time, one-way alternating traffic will be required using flaggers and a pilot-car to lead motorists through a moving 2-mile construction zone. Light to moderate delays can be anticipated between 5 to 10 minutes. All lanes will remain open during non-working hours. All remaining work will continue during daytime hours using barrels to shift traffic into open lanes. Minimal delays can be expected during this time.” It is expected the project will be complete in August.
