The Community of Unity in Christ Interfaith Group has put in the planning to host the Unity Festival this year for their annual service project and the festival is coming up this weekend. “The Unity Festival is another resource fair like last years, brought back by popular demand!” shares event coordinator Lisa Labrum. “Learn about community resources and earn chips worth 25 cents to redeem as cash at food vendors at the event.
We are also doing a clothing drive which will be sorted over the summer and then in August hold another event where you can pick up what your family may need.” Please bring clothing to donate and non-perishable food to donate for the local food pantry and the American Legion food drive. There will be bounce houses, corn hole, and food vendors. The Unity Festival is free for the community this Friday, June 27th, from 6 to 8:30pm in front of the Uintah County Library.
