The Uintah High School U’ettes drill team have plenty to be proud of this season including their 4th overall finish at state competition over the weekend. The girls took 3rd in Military and Kick and 4th in the Dance category. “As a coaching staff,” shares Coach Alysse Smuin, “we are so pleased with our girls and how they competed this weekend. They brought their best when their best was needed.” A top 5 finish in 4A drill competition is considered an amazing accomplishment considering the talented pool in the state of Utah. “It was a tough competition and we were right in there with the best fighting for the top,” says Smuin. “Our goal for the year was to place in the Top 5 and we are overjoyed to have met our goal. It was an amazing season with an amazing group of young ladies.” Congratulations to the U’ettes drill team!
