The Sterling Fire has reached 100 percent containment. Ashley National Forest provided updates on the wildfire, announcing this week that the fire has been declared controlled and reached that 100 percent mark. “Fire resources will remain vigilant, patrolling the area to identify and address remaining hot spots and hazards,” shares the announcement. The lightning caused Sterling Fire started on June 8th burning in Ashley National Forest about 22 miles south of Duchesne in Indian Canyon.
