A competition is adding to the community involvement with the Summer Reading program at Uintah County Library. The challenge was issued by the librarians to see who could read more this summer, community members or the librarians. While the competition is close, it was announced on Wednesday that the librarians are in the lead! In just the first two weeks, the children have read 23,305 minutes, teens have read 5,240 minutes, adults have read 26,445 minutes, and the librarians have read 32,927 minutes. In just 2 weeks, the combined total is 87,917 minutes of reading. There are 47 days remaining and it’s not too late to join! Start clocking your minutes and contact or visit the Uintah County Library to join the challenge.
