Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Deer And Getting Run Over In Duchesne County

A motorcyclist was killed on Thursday west of Hanna in Duchesne County after a tragic accident. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound at around 11:30pm on SR-35, Wolf Creek Pass, when the motorcycle struck a deer on the highway and crashed. A vehicle was also traveling eastbound when it saw the motorcycle’s headlights facing the vehicle and crossed into the left lane to avoid a head-on collision, running over the motorcyclist on the road. The driver pulled over and reported the crash. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
