A man pulled over due to a suspended license ended up arrested on drug distribution charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, an officer recognized 65-year-old Marvin Lee Jones as he drove by as someone he knew had a suspended license. A traffic stop was initiated and a records check revealed that Jones had a statewide warrant out of West Valley City. Jones was detained while a vehicle inventory was performed. Two glass pipes were found as well as a baggie of Methamphetamine, a digital scale, and more baggies generally used for distributing illegal narcotics. Jones was transported to the Duchesne County Jail where he was booked on charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving on a Suspended License, and Warrant of Arrest.
