A heavy rainstorm resulted in fatal conditions on Sunday afternoon. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, on May 18th, at approximately 2:00 PM, a gray Tesla was traveling westbound on US-6 near milepost 259 east of Price. “At that time, a heavy rainstorm was affecting the area, making the roads slick,” shares Highway Patrol. “The driver of the Tesla lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin into the eastbound lanes. The Tesla collided with a pop-up camper trailer being towed by a Ram 1500 traveling eastbound. As the Tesla was sideways, it was struck on the driver’s side by a white GMC Yukon, also traveling eastbound.” The driver of the Tesla received fatal injuries, the driver of the Yukon sustained minor injuries, and the driver of the Ram 1500 was uninjured. No identities have been released.
