Uintah School District held its annual Employee Appreciation Banquet earlier this month at the Uintah Conference Center. Teacher of the Year MarKay Anderson and Classified Employee of the Year Cynthia Shiner were recognized, as well as Uintah High student Olivia Pena, whose artwork was selected for the program and invitation art. The banquet recognizes those that have been employed by the District for 20+ years and those now retiring. The employees present that were recognized for the most years of service were Matty Tapoof with 37 years, Anna LeFevre with 42 years, and Ruth Ann Nelson with 42 years. Retirees that were present and recognized were Kim Barnhurst, Jody Robinson, Sandra Scott, Alene Gray, Anna LeFevre, Mattie Tapoof, and Karen Cook.
