The Basin Bird Festival is back and being hosted at a special new location. Hosted by the Roosevelt Arts, Parks, & Recreation Committee, the Basin Bird Festival will be at Roosevelt’s new nature park. For the last month, individuals and families have been invited to go out birding wherever they liked in pursuit of completing rows on their bird bingo card. This Saturday, the bingo card can be turned in at the Roosevelt Nature Park for entries into a raffle as part of the festival. Other activities during the festival include building bird houses from 9am to noon at the Nature Park Pavilion, the Art Contest Winner Ceremony at 11am at the Roosevelt Library, and a bird presentation at noon at the Nature Park Amphitheater. All are invited to the Basin Bird Festival on May 10th from 9am to 1pm. Bird Bingo cards can be found at the Roosevelt Library.
