Uintah High Track Athletes Enjoying A Season Of Breaking Records

It’s been a season of breaking records for athletes on the Uintah High School track team. Bailey John, Auklynd Jones, Izzie Lawson and Joy Spencer set a school record in the 4x200m Relay with a time of 1:47.69. The previous school record time of 1:49.20 was set in 2021 by Ashlyn Coxson, Jody Sagers, Josslyn Spencer, and Kaylee Runolfson. Aliysa Hunting set a school record in the 400m race with a time of 57.90. David Anderson set a school record in the 3200m race with a time of 9:41.92. Anderson’s new mark improves on his school-record time of 9:42.56, which he set last year. Chloe Glines improved on her school record in the javelin with a throw of 128 feet 7 inches. Heston Gowen, Kade Richens, Caleb Hadlock and Cale Manwaring set a school record in the 4x800m relay with a time of 8:24.62. The previous school record of 8:25.88 was set last year. 4A State Track and Field is coming up May 15th and 16th at BYU.
