For those interested in what happens in downtown Vernal, especially at the newly acquired Lamplighter Block, don’t forget that tomorrow Vernal City is giving tours to help the public see first hand the property as they share their input on what should happen there. The Design Workshop and Tours of the Vernal Community Block is happening May 1st. Come to Vernal City Hall and the 50-minute walking tours will start from there at the top of each hour at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. The goal is to provide community members a chance to have boots on the ground, see what is actually there, and the potential of what can realistically be done. Then people will be equipped with first hand knowledge as they take the survey online and provide opinions and input. There is a QR code posted at the Lamplighter block that links to the survey. It can also be accessed on the Vernal City Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as through www.vernal.gov.
