A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for vandalism at Doc’s Beach in Uintah County. Chad Boren reached out to the public via Facebook in a video that explains that someone has cut into the rock along a steep ledge to make the obstacle less challenging in an ATV. “The bypasses are set for a reason,” shares Boren. “If your rig is not capable of making it up an obstacle that does not mean you go rent a concrete saw. It means take a bypass or use a winch or hit it harder. There’s plenty of options in Doc’s Beach area that this should never ever happen here.” Boren said that Uintah County and The Division of Outdoor Recreation have a partnership to give a reward of up to $1000, depending on the severity of the damage, for information on people that commit acts of vandalism near OHV trails. If you know anything about the vandalism to Doc’s Beach, please call dispatch at 435-789-4222.
