Daggett County Commissioners and the community of Dutch John continue to work towards an agreement on the Dutch John Proposal. The tentative agreement outlines the maps of ownership and states that on one area of the land, Dutch John will hold and keep 100% of the revenue while on the other area of land, Dutch John will share net revenue of sales with the County. The agreement also states that water and sewer will be taken over by Dutch John along with water rights of approximately 12,000 acre feet. The final note on the agreement states that both parties will waive any lawsuits in relation to points in the agreement once it is finalized and signed. A special public meeting is being held tonight at the Daggett County Courthouse at 6:30pm. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
