The second annual Education Summit is nearly here providing a valuable opportunity, especially for local educators. The event has received high praise around the state after its success last year. The Vernal Area Chamber’s Education Committee coordinated with the Duchesne County and Uintah School Districts, as well as USU and UBATC, to create the event that provides continuing education for local teachers and administrators. Educators are able to attend the all day event free of charge and receive 6 re-licensure credits thanks to the Duchesne County and Uintah School Districts. This year’s keynote speaker, Brad Barton, is well known as an inspirational speaker for educators, using magic as part of his presentation to demonstrate methods of moving students beyond negative illusions that block their way. The Education Summit will be held March 25th from8:00am to 4:00pm at the Uintah Conference Center. To register, visit
