Smiles were on every face at this year’s DARE graduation at Kingspeak Elementary. Roosevelt City Police congratulated the graduates and acknowledged the DARE essay winners. In Mrs. Olson’s class, Payton Hancock won first place and Krysta Squire won second place. In Mrs. Hunsaker’s class, Connor Rice won first place and Josylen Rowley won 2nd place. In Mrs. Jensen’s class, Makynlee Smith won first place and Jayden McBride won second place. The DARE mission is to teach students good decision-making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives. The DARE vision is “a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors.” Congratulations to the DARE graduates of Kingspeak Elementary.
