Even superheroes need training and the Uintah Basin Emergency Care Conference provides that to our local emergency response heroes each year. The conference invites emergency response and care providers from Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties as well as the Ute Tribe and beyond and includes hands-on training and special speakers. This year’s conference kept the tradition of several competitions going and added a Search and Rescue challenge with Team Vernal Fire taking first place in the obstacle course. The ACLS challenge winner was Team Code Blue Crew and the Law Enforcement Challenge winner was Team Jensen Fire.
