UBATC students came home from the SkillsUSA state competitions decorated with gold. Close to 80 students traveled to the Utah competition, competing in advertising design, drafting, automotive, cabinetry, culinary arts, nursing, public speaking, and welding, among other skills. Gold medals were brought home by Josh Costello in Cabinetmaking, Masen Holmes in Electrical Construction Wiring, Jordan Wynn in Welding, Marlie Holmes in Welding Sculpture, Noah Morley in Architectural Drafting, and Madison Bullock in Medical Terminology. All 6 gold medalists will represent Utah at the national convention in Kentucky this summer. There were also 8 silver and 7 bronze medals brought home by UBATC students.
