A two car accident damaged a building in Roosevelt on Monday. According to Roosevelt Police, a 17-year-old male driver from Roosevelt driving a silver Dodge Durango was turning west onto Lagoon Street from 200 East at approximately 3:45pm. A white Toyota 4 Runner driven by a Roosevelt man was traveling south on 200 East at the traffic light. The white 4-Runner hit into the rear side of the Durango as the Durango turned in front of the 4 Runner. The 4 Runner then accelerated and ran into the side of the Sha-Mars building. The collision did cause damage to the building. The accident remains under investigation.
