, which opened Tuesday night and runs through Saturday. Their number was followed by the students of Uintah Basin Christian Academy who performed a musical comedy skit about the true meaning of Christmas and how Christ’s humble birth is amazing enough without making a special effects extravaganza of it. The group performed the skit for their families last week with standing room only but based on the great response, play director Amy McCrite is considering renting an auditorium next year and inviting the community as well. This was performer Isy Hadlock’s second year in the Christmas skit. “It was really fun to practice and be a part of and it’s special because it is the story of Jesus’ birth,” shared Isy. Performer Alli McCrite also enjoyed being part of the play, mostly for the singing but also, said Alli, as a way to spend time with friends laughing and having a lot of fun. The Chamber luncheon crowd giggled along with the jokes and felt the warmth of the holiday performances.
