Naples City has enjoyed a great year and among their accomplishments has been broadening their city sponsored community activities. Last month’s tree lighting ceremony was a great success with 500 people gathered on the newly landscaped Naples City Plaza with carols, a visit from Santa, and cheers from the crowd as the tree was lit. Rather than stop there in their pursuit for community bonding time, Naples City has teamed up with Ashley Acres Lights to present their 1st annual New Year’s Eve Firework Show. “The idea is to continue to build a sense of community,” shares Naples City Manager Josh Bake. “We of course still encourage everyone to be part of events in Vernal and Uintah County because we are all one big happy family but we are also looking to build our own sense of community and family time where people can attend and have fun.” The Firework Show will be held December 31st at 8:00pm at the Naples City Park. All are welcome.
