Forgotten Carols opened Tuesday night at Vernal Theatre: LIVE delivering a high dose of Christmas warmth sprinkled with laughs and plenty of impressive talent. The main cast is small with 6 leads, some playing multiple characters, and the production is backed up by a 17-person choir. Kenzy Anderson, with his pipes of gold, performs as multiple supporting characters. “This is definitely my go to show to get into the Christmas spirit,” shares Kenzy. “Being able to perform in it has given me a new perspective of what each character is feeling. It has also reminded me that there are so many people who struggle during this time of year and that all it takes is some time, compassion, and a little bit of singing to lift a heart.” Show director Nashelle Jackson says the work put in by the production’s participants has been immense and results in a spirit that is powerful and beautiful. The show runs nightly at 7pm through December 23rd with a 2pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets are still available at
