It might feel too early to talk about the 2018 election but signature gathering is already underway and the list is growing of locals putting their name in the variety of races. In Uintah County, incumbent Michael Wilkins is gathering signatures for Clerk-Auditor, Dan Dilsaver and Bart Haslem are gathering signatures for Commission Seat A, incumbent Bill Stringer and Troy Slaugh are gathering signatures for Commission Seat B, and Steve Labrum and Leonard Isaacson are gathering signatures for Uintah County Sheriff. In Duchesne County, incumbent JoAnn Evans and Mindi Crowley are gathering signatures for Clerk-Auditor, incumbent Gregory Todd is gathering signatures for Commission Seat A, Gregory Miles is gathering signatures for Commission Seat B, and Brandon Adams and Travis Tucker are gathering signatures for Duchesne County Sheriff. Joni Crane from Uintah County and Kyle Snow from Duchesne County are gathering signatures for the Senate District-26 race. More are anticipated to add their names to the list and all names with enough signatures can be included on the Primary ballot in June.
