by | Feb 2, 2018 | News | 0 comments

The Division of Wildlife Resources wants to make sure local non-profit and government agencies get a fair shot at grant money that will be available through the Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation. There will be $2 to 5 million dollars administered to Utah applicants in matching grant funding amounts ranging from $5,000 to $150,000 dollars to create better outdoor recreation opportunities in local communities. Meetings are scheduled to help applicants with their grant applications with one meeting in the Uintah Basin. The Office of Outdoor Recreation will walk attendees through the process step-by-step, helping attendees create a compelling project submission.  The grant workshop being held in the Uintah Basin will take place February 26th in Duchesne City from 9 to 11am.
