Duchesne County Projects Approved by UDOT Small Urban Committee

The Utah Department of Transportation Small Urban Committee met on Monday and several projects were approved within Duchesne County. Roosevelt City was approved for a $1.5 million dollar grant for the year 2022. Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow explains that the funds will be used for improvements along State Street between 800 South and 300 South. The improvements will include widening of the street, sidewalks, and drainage. During the same meeting the Small Urban Committee also approved $1.5 million dollars for Ballard’s 1500 East improvement project as well as $233,075 dollars for the Duchesne County Trails Master Plan.
