Bald Eagle events are underway throughout the state. Bald eagles fly to Utah in the winter to find food and escape colder conditions farther north, shares the Division of Wildlife Resources. So far events have been held in northern Utah but the event scheduled for northeastern Utah will be held
February 24th
at the Ouray National Wildlife Refuge. All are welcome but biologists encourage attendees to dress in warm clothes and to bring waterproof boots. It’s also a great idea to bring a telephoto lens if you hope to get a good, close up photograph of the eagles. The Wildlife Refuge is in Randlett at
19001 East Wildlife Refuge Road
.
