An accident occurred on Highway 40 near Eagle View Elementary
on Tuesday morning
when a pickup truck trying to turn east onto Highway 40 pulled out in front of a car. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the car was traveling westbound and the driver of the truck was turning from 2540 West onto the highway when it was hit broadside. The driver of the truck was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the hospital with injuries. The children in the truck and the driver of the car were all wearing seatbelts.
