Romero of Salt Lake City was tracked to a residence in Rock Springs where the arrest team closed in. Romero fled through the backyard, jumping a fence with agents in close pursuit. He had trouble drawing his handgun and officers were able to take him to the ground. Romero accumulated at least 8 additional charges
after Friday’s
arrest in addition to his federal charges.
