With big changes on the horizon, Vernal Regional Airport continues to prepare. Not only has the airport launched a new brand but booking flights and airport services are now available at
FlyVernal.com
. The airport also announced this week that SkyWest is now hiring for the Vernal location. Bidding has closed on the terminal renovation project and it is hoped that the remodel will get underway in the coming weeks. The remodel will include tearing out the divider wall between the inbound and outbound traffic areas and building a new wall that essentially swaps the space. The transition from Boutique to Skywest cannot take place until the final phase of construction on the airport runway is complete. It is anticipated that that work will be complete by the end of May and the date for the transition from Boutique to Skywest is scheduled to take place
on June 26th.
