A national adventure magazine is giving some love and recognition to Dinosaur National Monument and the surrounding area. Big Life Magazine released their list of ‘Best Places for Family Adventures’, featuring places such as Big Sky Resort in Montana and Truckee, California. The Monument and neighboring Vernal near the top of the list, however, noting that they “are two of the most exciting places in the world if you’re a seven-year-old with a thing for paleontology or a 35-year-old with a love of The Land Before Time.” The magazine also notes that the area has some of the best camping, river rafting, hiking, and wildlife viewing opportunities out there.
