Opportunities continue to present themselves for candidates to share their voice with voters as Primary Election Day approaches. The candidates running for two Uintah County Commission seats spoke at the Vernal Chamber Luncheon on Tuesday including Joni Crane and Bart Haslem who are running for Commission Seat A and Duane Shepherd, Troy Slaugh, and Bill Stringer who are running for Commission Seat B. Primary Election Day is June 26th. Election ballots were mailed out on Tuesday in Duchesne County, shares Clerk Auditor Joann Evans. In Uintah County, Primary Election ballots will start being mailed out this week. There is still time to register to vote by going to the County Clerk’s office. Completed ballots can be submitted by mail or in person at the Clerk’s Office. Evans encourages all to do their research and make informed decisions because, in her words, our counties do matter.
