Most Uintah County voters now have ballots in hand with time to vote by mail or in person. Clerk Auditor Mike Wilkins has several things he wants the public to know. “If you did not receive your ballot in the mail, please come into the County Clerk’s office,” shares Wilkins. “You still have plenty of time to vote your ballot and get a postmark date by the 25th of June or hand delivered by 8:00pm on Election Day, June 26th.” It’s important to note that Tuesday is the last day to register to vote and those who register today will have to wait until Election Day itself to vote. Wilkins also says that those who believe they’ve received the Democratic ballot in error should visit the Uintah County Clerk’s office immediately. Finally, for those who may be confused, the Primary Election is a party election that eliminates the candidates down to one candidate per party in advance of the final election in November.
