Roosevelt City is eager to welcome new officers to Roosevelt PD this fall. “We’re very pleased to be adding three new officers with roots in the Uintah Basin,” shares Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow. “They all care about the community and are committed to keeping the people who live here safe and secure. They will be assets to the Roosevelt Police Department, and understand our commitment to community policing.” The incoming officers are Dalan Knight from Upalco, Daniel Harmon from Ballard, and Morant Harrison from Bluebell. Knight and Harrison have previously worked as Duchesne County correction officers and both also have experience with Roosevelt PD as reserve officers. Harrison also served more than five years as a patrol deputy for Duchesne County. Harmon is a recent graduate of the police academy.
