A desire to help those that have lost their homes in the Dollar Ridge Fire has inspired multiple charity events this week. A Dollar Ridge Fire-Aid concert featuring famous country artist Jamie O’Neil is among them and every adult that attends has the chance to gain more than just a night of entertainment and the satisfaction of helping a worthy cause. Upon arriving at the concert, every person over the age of 18 will be given a door prize ticket for the possibility of winning a 17 foot Haulmark utility trailer courtesy of the Duchesne County Chamber of Commerce and B&D RV. “After realizing how many of our wonderful residents from the Basin would be there to support this amazing community event, we realized we needed to do something very special,” shares Chamber Director Irene Hansen. “We worked with B&D RV in a partnership to make a beautiful new cargo trailer available as a door prize…This is so exciting and what a great way to welcome and thank those in attendance for coming to support the Dollar Ridge victims.” The concert will be held
Saturday, August 25th, at 9:00pm
