Many locals are excited by the prospect of a new library in Roosevelt and all those with an interest in the possibility are urged to attend an upcoming public meeting. The Roosevelt Branch Library has consistently had record breaking participation in activities and reading programs each year led by Stephen Moon, who is the current Utah Librarian of the Year. The Roosevelt Branch Library staff has been pushing for a new building for over 5 years and now that the ball is rolling, they are asking for community support. The public meetings will be held October 25th and November 8th at the Crossroads Senior Center. Both meetings start at 7:00pm and all are urged to attend. For those unable to attend, the Roosevelt Branch Library has asked patrons to write letters of support.
