Christmas is around the corner and the Roosevelt Police Department is preparing to sponsor this year’s Shop with a Cop event
on Saturday, December 8th.
The Shop with a Cop event has local law enforcement personnel, with other volunteers, sharing a wonderful Christmas experience with children who might not otherwise have much this Christmas season. This year’s event will once again be generously hosted by Stewart’s Marketplace and Ace Hardware. Referrals are now being accepted from community, government, and religious organizations as a list of participants is compiled. “If you have or know children ages 3 to 11 years old who may benefit from this event,” shares Roosevelt City, “please contact someone from one of the listed organizations in order to have them referred.
